Ride-sharing platform Uber has launched a new premium service, Premier Plus, in Dhaka, aiming to provide passengers with a more comfortable and reliable travel experience through newer vehicles and highly rated drivers.
The new ride option is designed for customers seeking enhanced comfort and quality while commuting across the capital. According to Uber, Premier Plus will offer access to newer sedan cars, experienced drivers with strong service ratings, and a travel experience focused on convenience, reliability, and peace of mind.
Announcing the launch, Redwan Rezvi, Country General Manager of Uber Bangladesh, said the company is continuously working to improve rider experience by offering services that cater to different travel needs.
“Premier Plus is designed for riders who are looking for an elevated experience with newer vehicles and highly rated drivers, while retaining the convenience and reliability of Uber,” he said.
The service is now available through the Uber app. Riders can book a Premier Plus trip by entering their destination, selecting the Premier Plus option from the available ride categories, reviewing trip details, and confirming the booking.
The launch reflects Uber’s efforts to diversify its services in Bangladesh and cater to a growing segment of customers seeking premium transportation options in the capital city.
With the introduction of Premier Plus, Uber aims to further strengthen its position in Bangladesh’s competitive ride-sharing market by offering a higher-end travel experience for urban commuters.
