EDOTCO Bangladesh Wins ‘SDG Brand Champion Awards 2025’ for Energy Efficiency

Dhaka, July 14, 2025 – EDOTCO Bangladesh, a leading digital infrastructure provider, has been awarded the prestigious ‘SDG Brand Champion Awards 2025’ for its outstanding contributions to energy efficiency and sustainable practices in the telecom sector.

The company secured top honours in two key categories: ‘Most Energy Efficient Initiative of the Year’ for its community-inclusive Power Genie initiative and ‘SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production.’ It also received an honorable mention as ‘The Most Sustainable Telecommunications Company’, further solidifying its position as a sustainability leader.

Organized by Bangladesh Brand Forum and the Sustainable Brand Initiative under the Bangladesh Innovation Conclave, the award ceremony was held in Dhaka and attended by over 500 industry leaders, policymakers, and sustainability advocates.

Receiving the award, Sunil Issac, Country Managing Director of EDOTCO Bangladesh, stated, “Sustainability is at the heart of our purpose. This recognition reinforces our commitment to the SDGs and encourages us to deepen our impact on communities and the environment.”
